Introduction: 1st article (Legislation to ban workplace bullying finally gets its day)
This article we will talk about the different options that exist in Puerto Rico so that workers are not harassed by the bullies. Also speak of several senator that have submitted legislation but no laws have been created. Experts have told us that bullying has different ways to manifest this abuse including physical, mental and psychological.

It is mentioned that 2 bills have been created to ban workplace these have been introduced in the P.R Legislature but these are not mentioned and it is assumed that one could be house bill 3898. The article also mentions currently there are no laws in P.R to protect workers from bullying. Sen. Lucy Arce Ferrer introduced a bill more than a year ago to deal with workplace bully, but it has been languishing in the upper chamber as well as José Enrique Melendez Ortiz who field a similar legislation in the house that was recently evaluated in a public hearing. The expert who have analyzed this situation understand that bullying can also be institutionalized throught the corporation and that they should start educatingfrom the top because there is lack of knowledge.
The bullying with in the workplace can cause physical like emotional affect on the worker affecting their performance and being evaluated porly to justify that the worker is insuficient. The expert say that there are 12 ways the problem can manifiest itself just to mention acouple.
- The classic bully who yells at employes and plays with their emotions
- The bully who micromanages a worker and is constantly criticizing his on her.
- the bully who spread rumors about his on her victim; and the control freak who limits the movement of his or her victims.
It has been noticed that in the past 10 years there has been an micrease in the number of cases in the state insurance fond by affected workers.

This article covers how an enployed affect a worker by bullying, and what the worker should is to stop this effect. it also states some of the symtoms develops over time sometimes with serious consecuence.

Work bullying affect 45% of all P.R employers, triggiring a host of stress related illnesses and affecting productivity. This is believed not to be a result of the depressed economy. The problem is that the worker is being sabotaged to prevent him or her from completing their task by their employeer. The victim of workplace bullying manifiest diferent symtoms such as high blood pressure, anxious, depressed and the other complications which are not related but are consecuence of that, result in loss of productivity. The expert assume that the lack of employers not having protocols in place to respond to the problem. "the employer must establish conflict- resolution mechanisms"to help these workers. But this can't be negleted because a negative effect on the work enviroment and productivity. suggesting that the employer needs to implement harasement prevention policies they should also adapt a general code of conduct, to establish a respective workplace and encourage employes to report violations. The bully victim must keep a dairy of the situations he or she incurrs to defend themselves.
